THE NEEN SAVAGE PARISH HALL

Neen Savage Parish Hall was opened in 1986, following several years of fundraising by the Neen Savage community.  It is the only community meeting space in the parish and is an essential facility located in the centre of the parish.

The Hall is in a lovely picturesque rural setting, adjacent to the Parish Church and close to the River Rea.

The hall is set back from the road behind wrought iron gates. The site is safe and enclosed, with a good sized tarmaced car park for about 30 cars. The hall is surrounded on three sides by well-maintained grass, and a boundary of hedges and mature trees.

The building comprises an Entrance Hall, a Main Room (10 metres x 6 metres), Kitchen, Toilets (ladies, gents & disabled) and Storeroom.

The hall has a good Wi-Fi system in place.

The Hall is a registered charity and is managed by a committee of local volunteer trustees. Regular fundraising events are held throughout the year, and the hall is available to hire for meetings and events. The committee try to keep hiring costs to a minimum and offer discounted rates to Neen Savage residents.

The hall is accessible to all, with a level double-door entrance and no steps. There is a generous-sized disabled toilet.

The hall is double-glazed and has an efficient electric heating system that can be programmed to suit anyone’s requirements. The kitchen has a fridge and cooker and catering equipment, and crockery for a function of up to 100. At a seated function, the capacity is nearer 60. There are a range of tables and chairs in the hall.

The hall is a popular venue for Village events like Fetes and Parties, as well as being used as a meeting room for local societies and as a Polling Station.

Neen Savage Parish Hall is an excellent venue for a variety of uses. It is a peaceful spot with good car park facilities and good Wi-Fi. Its proximity to the church makes it ideally placed for associated events like christenings, weddings and funerals.
